Fair question.
When people first hear the name Find Your Music, they often assume it has something to do with musical ability or creativity. (Or more often than not, finding great options for their playlist!)
For us, Music is a metaphor for your true identity. Not the labels we collect throughout life, or a personality type, or a list of strengths. Something much richer than that.
Think about your favourite piece of music. It's not one note that makes it memorable. It's the way the notes come together that creates something recognisable, distinctive and uniquely its own. People are much the same.
No single quality defines us. Our strengths, values, motivations, experiences and the way we naturally connect with others each reveal something about who we are. On their own, they tell an incomplete story. Together, they create a richer understanding of the person behind the individual qualities.
That's why Find Your Music doesn't try to place people into categories. Instead, we bring together different perspectives to help you recognise what is already there.
It begins with your own reflections, because no one knows your hopes, experiences and aspirations better than you do. We then invite the people who know you well to contribute their observations through your Circle of Trust. They often see strengths and qualities that have become so natural to you that you barely notice them yourself. Your reflections and their observations create a fuller picture than either could alone.
That's your Music.
It's the unique combination of qualities that makes you recognisably you. It isn't something you invent or something you have to become. It's something you discover and learn to trust.
Once you recognise your Music, you have something invaluable: an anchor. A place to return to when life changes, opportunities appear, or difficult decisions need to be made. Because when you know your Music, you don't have to keep asking who you should become.
You already know who you are.
