Bring What’s Yours
“What’s next?” isn’t a question you answer once. It shows up again in different forms, at different stages, asking you to move forward without having the full picture.
Most of us are taught to meet these moments by looking outward. To gather information, explore options, and find the answer that makes the most sense before taking a step. But there’s a new paradigm.
Gone is the time when answers were fewer and harder to find. The world has changed, and there’s no shortage of direction: articles, podcasts, conversations, opinions. If anything, there’s too much of it. And that changes the challenge.
It’s no longer just about finding an answer. It’s about knowing which one actually fits. When everything is available, it becomes easier to follow something that isn’t really yours; to choose what looks right instead of what feels right, to move in a direction that makes sense on paper, but doesn’t quite hold once you’re in it. That’s where these moments become more difficult than they seem.
There are so many choices that it can be hard to hear what’s coming from you underneath all of it. The signal is still there - it requires closer attention.
It shows up in what you’re drawn to, the choices that feel natural, the way certain things hold your attention while others don’t. It doesn’t compete with everything around it. It doesn’t try to convince you. Which is why it’s easy to miss.
At Find Your Music, we would say this is your Music. It’s not something separate from the rest of your life, but something that runs through it, the patterns in how you think, what you choose, and how you engage when you’re not trying to follow someone else’s path. It doesn’t remove uncertainty, but it gives you something steady to move with.
There will always be another “what’s next.” What matters is how you meet it, and whether you can recognize yourself when you do.
